Test rules and how to send your score
The undergraduate list accepts both PTE Academic and PTE Academic Online. Kent State asks applicants to upload an IELTS or PTE report as a scanned PDF into the online application, and says all English scores are verified for authenticity. The pages do not mention PTE Core or a validity period. Kent State does not accept medium of instruction letters.
On the same pages, IELTS needs 6.0 for undergraduates and for the graduate default, with 6.5 alongside PTE 58 and 7.0 alongside PTE 65 in the graduate tables.

If you fall short
Undergraduates who miss the language score but meet academic requirements may be admitted conditionally and take English classes at the ESL Center before starting their programme. For business programmes with conditional admission, the graduate page sets a PTE floor of 46. Completing the Kent State ESL Center Level 8 programme with a 3.75 GPA also meets the requirement.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Kent State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
