What TOEFL score do you need for Kent State University?

Kent State accepts TOEFL scores on the new 1 to 6 range but continues to assess proficiency using the comparable overall 0 to 120 score, so its published minimums are on the 0 to 120 scale. It does not accept MyBest scores. Ask ETS to send official scores to institution code 1367; all English scores are verified.

Undergraduates who meet the academic requirements but not the English score may be admitted conditionally and take classes at the ESL Center before starting their programme. Some graduate programmes also offer conditional admission; in the business college you need at least TOEFL 59 to be considered. Completing Level 8 of the ESL Center's Intensive English programme with a 3.75 GPA also meets the requirement.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Kent State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
