King's asks for proof of English if it is not your first language and reserves the right to ask any applicant for it. The page gives no MyBest or Home Edition policy.

If your TOEFL score is below King's level
If you are academically admissible but miss the requirement, King's automatically admits you to an academic English programme such as the English Boost Program, a nine-week summer programme for students close to the direct-entry level. Completing the Fanshawe ESL programme also meets all of King's English requirements.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your King's programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
