Test rules and how to send your score
The FAQ lists "Pearson PTE Academic (also online version) (score 61)". Test score reports should not be older than two years at the time of application, and you will need an official score report for enrolment. KLU asks you to name it when you register for a test if possible; the institutional code 7373 it gives is for TOEFL. PTE Core is not mentioned.
On the same list IELTS Academic and the IELTS Online Academic Test are 6.5, and TOEFL iBT is 90, or 4.5 for tests from 21 January 2026.
Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.

If you fall short
You can apply without a test. If admitted, your admission is conditional until you prove English: ideally submit a score by 31 August, and at the latest by 15 January, the end of your first semester. A bachelor's from an English-speaking curriculum or native speaker status from the listed countries also meets the requirement.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your KLU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
