Lancaster TOEFL test rules
Both pages list the TOEFL iBT Home Edition, and the postgraduate page lists TOEFL iBT including My Best Scores. TOEFL certificates are valid for two years from the test date and must still be valid on the start date of your studies. The undergraduate page says Lancaster cannot combine scores if you have taken a test several times.
For comparison, the undergraduate page asks for IELTS Academic 6.5 with at least 5.5 in each element.

If your TOEFL score is below Lancaster's level
Postgraduates who fall short may be accepted through one of Lancaster's pre-sessional English programmes. The pre-sessional entry scores are listed in IELTS terms, and Lancaster says it will accept other approved tests and asks you to contact it for the equivalent scores.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lancaster programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
