How Leeds Trinity handles Duolingo scores
The validity period for the Duolingo English Test is two years.
For comparison, the same page sets IELTS Academic 6.0 with no component below 5.5 for most courses. Biomedical Science, MA Social Work and MA Creative Writing ask for IELTS 7.0 with no component below 6.5.

If your Duolingo score is below the line
Nationals of UKVI majority English-speaking countries, and of Canada, do not need to prove English. A bachelor's or postgraduate qualification from a UK university or one in a majority English-speaking country is also accepted.
