Test rules and how to report your score
The Bulletin points applicants to pearsonpte.com for test information and asks that official documents come from the originating sources directly to the Office of Admission. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson code.
On the same page the undergraduate IELTS minimum is 6.5 and the TOEFL iBT minimum is 90 (4.5 on the new scale), so PTE 56 is LMU's equivalent to IELTS 6.5.

The Bulletin does not describe a conditional admission or English pathway route for undergraduates below the minimum. International students are admitted as degree-seeking students only.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your LMU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
