What TOEFL score do you need for Lund University?

University Admissions in Sweden, which checks English for Swedish universities, accepts the TOEFL iBT, the Home Edition and the Paper Edition, but not TOEFL ITP, MyBest scores, Institutional TOEFL, TOEFL Essentials or Examinee Score Records. It verifies scores online, which it says is possible for up to two years after the test date. On the same page, English 6 is 90 with 20 in the written test for results up to 20 January 2026, or 4.5 with no section below 4 from 21 January 2026; English 7 is 100 with 20 in writing, or 5 with no section below 4.5.

Lund says the deadline for proof of English to reach University Admissions is the same as the deadline for supporting documents.

On Lund's page, the matching IELTS Academic minimum is 6.5 with no section below 5.5. The English master's asks IELTS 7.5 with normally no part below 7.0.

Lund's page lists no conditional or pre-sessional English route. It says some students can show English 6 through earlier upper secondary or university studies, so check the University Admissions rules for your country.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Lund programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
