What IELTS score do you need for Massey University?

Massey says that, in general, missing the overall or band minimums means resitting the full IELTS test. But if you meet the overall score and fall short in one band, it says you can sit a one-skill retake within 90 days. Results are valid for 2 years from the date you took the test. Some Massey qualifications need more than the minimum; the qualification's own entry requirements will say so.

Massey runs short English courses, including English for Academic Purposes (EAP). The same table sets lower IELTS entry points for its pathways: 5.0 (minimum 4.5) for EAP1, and 5.5 (minimum 5.0) for EAP2, the Foundation Certificate (International) and the Foundation Certificate (International Accelerated).

If you went to secondary school in New Zealand and achieved NCEA Level 3 or Cambridge International (CIE), you do not need to give extra evidence of English.
