Test rules and the IELTS comparison
The page names "PTE Academic: overall score of 61 or higher". It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, how old a score may be, or how to send it, so ask admissions@mu-varna.bg before relying on an online test.

If you fall short
The university offers a Preparatory course in English language and specialised disciplines for applicants to Medicine, Dental Medicine and Pharmacy who are not yet proficient in English. Citizens of, or school leavers from, the UK, Ireland, the USA, Australia, Canada and New Zealand do not need a test.
