What Duolingo score do you need for Metropolitan State University?

Both pages say the official Duolingo score report comes into the Metro State dashboard from Duolingo, while IELTS score reports can be uploaded. Neither page gives a Duolingo validity period or subscore rule.

For comparison, the undergraduate page sets IELTS Academic at 5.5 and the graduate page sets it at 6.5.

Completing Level 112 at an ELS Language Center in the US meets the requirement at both levels. Undergraduates can also use SAT Critical Reading 570 or ACT English 24. Neither page describes conditional admission.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Metro State programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
