MTU TOEFL minimums by level
From MTU's Cork campus page for non-EU students, which says requirements may change every academic year.

Test rules at MTU
The test must have been taken no more than two years before the start of your programme. The page does not give a 1 to 6 figure, a Home Edition rule or an institution code.
On the same page, IELTS Academic is 6.0 with no section below 5.5 at Level 1 and 6.5 with no section below 6.0 at Level 2.

If your TOEFL score falls short
The Cork campus page does not list a pre-sessional or pathway TOEFL level, so ask the International Office about English support before you apply.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your MTU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
