Native speakers are exempt. So are students whose high-school diploma came from a programme taught in English, subject to verification by the Admission Office.

The certificate must be submitted within one month before the programme begins and must not be older than 2 years. Non-European applicants must also complete pre-enrolment on the UniversItaly platform, which the page calls mandatory and says is usually submitted between March and November.
