What PTE score do you need for NC A&T?

The Graduate College page says scores must be submitted directly from the testing agency and are reportable for two years from the exam date, after which you must retake the test. The undergraduate page does not give a validity period. Neither page mentions PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or a Pearson institution code.

On the same pages, IELTS is 6.5 for undergraduates and 6.0 for graduate study. The graduate PTE bar of 75 is high next to IELTS 6.0, so many graduate applicants will find IELTS the easier route.

Undergraduates can instead complete the INTERLINK Language Program at UNCG. Graduate applicants can complete ALA or Interlink English Level 5 before seeking admission, and the Graduate College also recognises recent completers of CEA-accredited language academies. Neither page offers conditional admission on a lower PTE score.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NC A&T programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
