How NCCU handles Duolingo scores
The test requirement is waived if your native country's official language is English or your secondary school's main language of instruction was English. TOEFL Essentials is not accepted.
The page states no Duolingo validity period, subscore rule or sending instructions.
For comparison, the same page sets IELTS at 6.

If your Duolingo score is below NCCU's level
The page offers no conditional admission or English pathway. Other routes on the same list include Cambridge English C1 and SAT scores.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NCCU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
