NAU Duolingo minimums

Graduate test rules and the IELTS level
The Graduate College says test scores must be taken within two years of the term in which you plan to begin, and your application will not be evaluated until NAU receives valid official scores from an approved testing agency. It adds that not all departments accept all exam types. The pages set no separate DET level for assistantships.

If your Duolingo score is short
Undergraduates who do not meet the requirement may need to take an English placement test on arrival or enrol in NAU's Program in Intensive English (PIE). The Graduate College says applicants who fall short may be eligible for PIE. Neither page gives a DET entry level for PIE.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NAU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
