What IELTS score do you need for Northern Arizona University?

Your application will not be evaluated until NAU receives valid scores. NAU lists IELTS, Duolingo and TOEFL for most graduate programs, and tests must be taken within two years of the term in which you start. Proof of English may be waived if you hold a passport from an approved English-speaking country or completed a university degree in one. NAU's list includes the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Kenya, Nigeria, the Philippines and Singapore, but not India. Applicants who fall short may be eligible for the Program in Intensive English (PIE).

Undergraduates can use TOEFL iBT or Home Edition 70 (MyBest scores accepted), IELTS 6.0, Duolingo 95, PTE 56, ACT English and Reading 21, SAT EBRW 350, or IB English. Graduates of English-taught high schools qualify with four years of English and a school letter confirming every course was taught in English, which can suit English-medium school leavers.
