Test rules and how to send your score
The policy lists PTE Academic without naming the online or Core versions, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. Northwood reserves the right to give English tests on arrival if it sees a gap between your performance and the score you submitted.
In the same table, IELTS is 6.0 overall for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduates, so PTE 48 and 55 are the PTE routes to those levels. Duolingo is 110 and 120.

If you fall short
Conditional admission is at the university's discretion, with an I-20 issued for the Intensive English Program. Graduate applicants who completed their undergraduate coursework entirely in English are exempt, and the policy lists other exemptions.
