Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at NYCU
The Global MBA page lists the test as "PTE: 55" and asks for valid score reports. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson code. International applicants apply through the OIA online system and upload documents there; NYCU may ask for originals.
On the Global MBA page, PTE 55 sits beside IELTS 6.5, TOEFL iBT 4.5, TOEFL ITP 550, TOEIC 800 and Linguaskill Business at CEFR B2.

If you fall short
The OIA page accepts an official certificate that your previous studies were fully taught in English instead of a test, and does not ask nationals of, or graduates from, English-speaking countries for proof of English. The Global MBA waives the requirement for bachelor's degrees from the US, Canada, the UK or Australia. No conditional admission route is described.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your NYCU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
