Diplomas, waivers and validity
The bachelor's page also accepts English grades from some diplomas: Dutch VWO at 6 or higher, the European Baccalaureate at 7 or higher in Language 1 or 2, a German Abitur English grade of 10 or higher, a Belgian diploma taught in Dutch with at least 70% in English, and South African applicants whose entire education was in English. IB, GCE and A-level, and US high school diplomas have no English grade on the list.
For the Impact MBA, the test must have been taken within 2 years before the start of the programme. Waivers are available on request for graduates of bachelor's or master's programmes taught in English and for native speakers. The bachelor's page does not mention waivers.
Both pages also print a TOEFL iBT figure. Confirm it with admissions before you rely on it.

Programme facts and how to check
The full-time Impact MBA runs for 14 months on campus, Monday to Friday, in Breukelen or Amsterdam, and is taught in English for 68 ECTS. The latest page shows a September 2027 intake. Questions about English go to study@nyenrode.nl.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Nyenrode programme page and in your offer, so check it there before you book a test.
Minimum vs competitive score
Where Nyenrode Business University publishes an IELTS score, it is the minimum: the floor an application has to meet to be considered, not a score that guarantees an offer.
Competitive programmes, and courses with far more applicants than places, may expect more than the minimum, and some departments set their own overall or per-skill scores, often for writing or speaking. The course page has the final word, so check it before you book a test.
