How OCAD U handles TOEFL scores
OCAD U accepts the TOEFL iBT including the Home Edition and Paper Edition, and accepts TOEFL MyBest (super-scored) results. It does not accept TOEFL Essentials, TOEFL ITP or TOEFL ITP Plus for China. Use institution code 0537 to send results from ETS. Graduate test results are valid if completed within 24 months of your intended start date.
For comparison, the undergraduate page asks IELTS Academic 6.5 with no part below 6.0, and the graduate page asks 7.0 with no part below 7.0.

If your TOEFL score is below OCAD U's level
OCAD U's English for Art and Design (EAD) programmes are the route in. EAD: Bridge to First Year has its own lower TOEFL minimums, shown in the table. If your total meets the undergraduate level but one section is short, contact the EAD programme, as you may be eligible or required to take EAD: Expanded, which includes a reduced Fall course load.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your OCAD U programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
