Ohlone PTE minimum
From Ohlone's English proficiency requirements page.
| Programme or band | PTE overall | Minimum per skill |
|---|---|---|
| Degree programme | 45 | None stated |
| English Language Institute | No score needed | Not applicable |
Test rules and how to send your score
Ohlone asks for a copy of the Pearson PTE or PTE Express score report, submitted with your International Student Application. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code.
IELTS is 5.5 overall on the same page, so PTE 45 is the PTE route to that level.

If you fall short
ELI applicants do not need proof of English with their application. Completing ELI level 4, the highest level, meets the requirement. ELS Level 109 and UC Davis Extension Level 600 also count. ELI students who later pass TOEFL or IELTS must send proof at least three weeks before classes start.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Ohlone programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
