What Duolingo score do you need for Ontario Tech University?

For undergraduates, the test date must be within two years of your desired start date. Results must go to Ontario Tech Admissions straight from the provider unless they can be checked online.

Graduate Studies will not consider results dated more than 24 months before your application. You can upload a copy of the official score after applying. If you apply to both a course-based and a thesis-based programme, you need an acceptable test for the thesis-based one.

For comparison, the undergraduate page asks for IELTS Academic 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0, and 7.0 for Education and Nursing.

Applicants who meet every requirement except English may be able to enrol in an English for Academic Purposes programme with an Ontario Tech partner, including the online programme run by Oxford International Digital Institute.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Ontario Tech programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
