Test rules and how to send your score
The page lists PTE without naming a version, and does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. It notes that students applying for Nursing Conditional Admission are strongly encouraged to send scores.
IELTS is 6.5 on the same page, so PTE 56 is the PTE route to that level.

If you fall short
You can meet the requirement instead with one college-level English class at B or better (two on a quarter system), a pre-approved non-PLU ESL programme at CEFR B2, SAT English 500, ACT English 21 or GCE O-Level English B. Diplomas from listed English-speaking and Nordic countries also qualify. The page does not describe a PLU-run pathway.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your PLU programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
