Where can I take PTE in Nepal?

With six venues, the Kathmandu valley gives the widest choice of dates, which matters if you need a result quickly for an admission or visa deadline. Outside the valley each city has one or two venues, so popular weekend slots go first; book early and use the free reschedule window (more than 14 days before the test) if your plans change.

IDP and the British Council cover more Nepali cities for IELTS than Pearson does for PTE, including Biratnagar and Nepalgunj. If no PTE centre is near you, compare the IELTS test centres in Nepal before deciding which test to take.

To book, create a myPTE account, choose the test, pick a centre and a slot at least 24 hours ahead, and pay. Pearson accepts American Express, Discover, Mastercard and Visa, and a voucher or promo code is entered at the payment step (Pearson booking guide). Your account name must match your passport exactly; it can be corrected up to 3 days before the test, never on test day, and a mismatch means no test and no refund.

The fee is the same at every centre; see PTE exam fee in Nepal for the price list and refund rules, and take a free PTE mock test first.
