Planning around one centre
Book early and use the free reschedule window (more than 14 days before the test) as your buffer. Candidates in northern Tanzania may find Nairobi closer, though Kenya's price (USD 260) and travel need weighing up. One warning for nurses: the NMC accepts only IELTS Academic and OET, so PTE cannot be used for UK nursing registration, even though PTE Academic UKVI works for UK visas. Compare the options in OET vs PTE for nurses.
