Test rules at Pusan National University
At graduate level, only scores valid as of the application deadline are recognised. Applicants from the US, UK, Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand or South Africa do not need an English score for Global Studies.

If your TOEFL score falls short
Graduate applicants can meet the language requirement with TOPIK level 3, completion of level 3 at the PNU Language Education Institute, or a language exemption letter (Form 3) stamped by the prospective supervisor or dean.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Pusan National University programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

Not for Global Studies. The School of Computer Science and Engineering asks TOEFL iBT 80 plus TOPIK level 3 or PNU Korean level 3.
Can I use TOPIK instead of TOEFL for PNU graduate school?+
Yes. TOPIK level 3 or higher meets the graduate language requirement.
