RCSI PTE Academic scores by course type
From RCSI's postgraduate English language requirements page and the undergraduate Medicine entry requirements. The postgraduate table maps each test to CEFR bands and does not give per-skill PTE minimums.

Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS at RCSI
The postgraduate page names Pearson PTE Academic and lists PTE General levels 1, 2 and 3 among the tests RCSI does not accept. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period for PTE or a Pearson sending method, so ask Admissions how to submit your score report.
On the same postgraduate page the minimum IELTS is 6.5 overall with no band lower than 6.0, which sits in the same B2/C1 row as PTE 67 to 84. The Medicine page says IELTS certificates must be less than two years old at admission.

If your PTE score falls short
You are exempt from the postgraduate test if you completed undergraduate or postgraduate study full-time in English for three or more years in total. RCSI's postgraduate page does not describe a pre-sessional or pathway course with a PTE entry score.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your RCSI programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

What PTE score does RCSI need?+
PTE Academic 67 to 84 is RCSI's B2/C1 band for postgraduate applicants, so 67 is the lowest listed score.
Does RCSI accept PTE for research degrees?+
No. The postgraduate page says PTE Academic is not accepted for postgraduate research courses.
Can I use PTE for RCSI Medicine?+
