Test rules and how to send your score
The undergraduate page does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code; it prints only RWU's TOEFL code, 3729. Graduate scores must be official and released directly to RWU by the testing company, but PTE is not one of the graduate options.
IELTS is 6.5 for undergraduates on the same page, so PTE 53 is the PTE route to that level.

If you fall short
Undergraduates below the qualifying scores may get conditional admission, as long as they show English proficiency before the I-20 is issued. An agreed programme at a partner ESL school also meets the requirement; the page lists the English Language & Culture Academy at Johnson & Wales University in Providence and ASC English.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Roger Williams programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
