SGH PTE Academic minimum

Test rules and the IELTS comparison
PTE Academic is accepted in both stationary and online versions. The Pearson English International Certificate (previously PTE General) is a separate entry. The page gives no validity period, PTE Core rule or Pearson sending method.
The same list sets IELTS at 5.5 and TOEFL iBT at 72, so PTE 59 sits at the same B2 level.
Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.

If your PTE score falls short
EU, EFTA, Swiss and UK citizens without a listed certificate can take SGH's own B2 exam, chosen during registration. SGH does not run that exam for other applicants, who must present a listed document. Confirmation that your entire previous degree was taught in English is also on the list.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your SGH programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
