St. Mary's English scores by level

Exemptions
Undergraduates who earn a high school diploma, associate degree, bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited US school, college or university have met the requirement, and AP, IB and other international curricula may be considered in place of a test.
Both lists name countries exempt from TOEFL and IELTS, including Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Ghana, Kenya, New Zealand, Nigeria, Singapore, South Africa and the United Kingdom. India, Pakistan and Bangladesh are not on the list.

Graduate writing course and score age
For graduate applicants, scores must be no more than six months old at the time of application. Students who score IELTS 6.0, TOEFL iBT 80 to 82 or Duolingo 115 must enrol in EN6301 Academic Writing for International Students in their first semester.
