Test rules and how to send your score

The undergraduate page says PTE scores cannot be self-reported and must come from the testing agency. The graduate page says only your most recent test is considered and scores are valid for two years from the test date. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core or a Pearson code.

IELTS is 6.5 at both levels, with no subscore below 6.0 for graduate study. So PTE 54 matches IELTS 6.5 for undergraduates, while graduates need PTE 65.

If you fall short

INTO Suffolk runs Academic English, International Direct, International Year One, an undergraduate transfer programme, an integrated master's and a global graduate certificate. Completing your chosen programme leads to full admission. Undergraduates can also waive the test with a B average in WRI 101/102 or equivalent.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Suffolk programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
