What TOEFL score do you need for Tarleton State University?

Scores should be sent directly from the testing agency to admissions@tarleton.edu, or by notification for Tarleton to download. TOEFL and IELTS scores expire three years from the test date, while PTE and Duolingo scores expire after two.

For comparison, the same table sets IELTS at 6.

Tarleton lists several exemptions: citizenship of a listed country, six hours of college English with C grades at a U.S., Canadian (non-Quebec), British or Australian institution, an SAT EBRW of 550 or ACT English of 21, two years at and graduation from an accredited U.S. high school, and completion of Level 9 at The Language Company.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Tarleton programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
