What Duolingo score do you need for Texas State University?

Both pages say scores older than two years or from a single-skill exam will not be accepted. The undergraduate page says to select TEXAS STATE UNIVERSITY as the recipient of Duolingo scores, which must be sent officially and electronically. The graduate page notes some programmes set TOEFL section scores and points to programme pages for details. Neither page sets Duolingo subscores or mentions teaching assistantships.

For comparison, the same pages set IELTS at 6.5 with 6.0 in each section for both undergraduate and graduate admission.

Neither page offers a conditional or pathway Duolingo level. Graduate applicants with a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited US institution, or from a country on the exempt list, do not need a test, but the graduate page says degrees from India, Nepal, Cameroon or Zimbabwe still need one.
