THUAS PTE Academic minimums by programme type
From THUAS's entry requirements page. Four-year bachelor's include International Business, European Studies and Safety and Security Management Studies. The page also lists three-year bachelor's separately; we could not read a PTE score for them in the page text, so ask THUAS.
| Programme or band | PTE overall | Minimum per skill |
|---|---|---|
| Four-year bachelor's programmes | 61 | Not stated |
| All English-taught master's programmes | Not stated | 61 in each component |
Test rules and the IELTS comparison
Language tests must be taken at a test centre, so PTE Academic Online does not meet the rule, and home editions are not accepted except for the exemptions the page names. Test dates may not be older than two years on 1 September 2027. PTE Core is not mentioned. The institution code 7042 on the page is for TOEFL only.
On the same page, four-year bachelor's need IELTS Academic 6.0 overall. Master's need IELTS 6.0 in each component with 6.0 overall for February 2027, rising to 6.5 overall for September 2027.

If your PTE score falls short
Dutch applicants can use a VWO certificate with a pass in English. THUAS accepts only the tests on its list, and IELTS Online and IELTS One Skill Retake results are not accepted, so check your alternative is on it before booking.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your THUAS programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
