Test rules and how PTE compares with IELTS
The page lists Towson's code 5404 for TOEFL and SAT but gives no PTE code or sending instructions. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core or how long scores stay valid.
On the same table, IELTS is 6.0 with band scores of 5.5 for undergraduates and 6.5 with band scores of 6.0 for graduates. PTE 49 and 57 sit beside those levels, but without the band floors that IELTS carries.

Towson lists the Academic Pathway to Towson University (APTU) for applicants who do not meet the English standard but want to earn college credit. TU English Language Center completion also counts: Level 5 for undergraduates and Level 6 with a grade of B or better for graduates.
