What IELTS score do you need for TU Darmstadt?

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning M.Sc. asks UNIcert III, TOEFL iBT 95, IELTS 7.0, CEFR C1 or equivalent. The Information and Communication Engineering (iCE) programme repeats the central C1 list, including PTE Academic 76. Its FAQ says students who already did their bachelor's in English need not prepare an English certificate, and that TOEFL is preferred.

The Mathematics M.Sc. application page asks TOEFL iBT 72 or IELTS 5.5. Native English speakers can send a passport copy, and applicants who completed an English-instructed degree can send a confirmation from their university.

TU Darmstadt's central list accepts a confirmation from your previous university that English was the language of instruction. It names no country restriction, so the page does not exclude a confirmation from an Indian university. Your department may still ask for more documents.
