What PTE score do you need for Tufts University?

The undergraduate page accepts self-reported English test scores through the Applicant Status Page after you apply; students who enrol must send official scores. Each section score must come from the same test date, from the most recent sitting, and superscoring is not accepted. Tufts also says TOEFL ITP Plus and the IELTS Indicator do not meet the requirement; it does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

For comparison, the same page gives IELTS 7+ as the corresponding level to PTE Academic 68+.

Because Tufts publishes recommended levels rather than minimums, a score below 68 does not rule you out on its own, but the page offers no conditional admission or pathway. Graduate applicants should plan on TOEFL, IELTS or Duolingo.
