What IELTS score do you need for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)?

Undergraduates can also use ACT English 14, SAT ERWS 400, WAEC/WASSCE B3, Cambridge CPE grade C or CAE grade B, AP English 4, IB Higher Level English A 4 or A-level English C. They are exempt after one year (two full-time semesters) at a US college including English Composition I with a C or higher, after completing a UCCS-approved English programme, or as citizens of a listed exempt country, which includes Australia, Canada (except Quebec), Nigeria and the UK.

Graduate applicants can use a degree earned in the US, a degree taught in English (you may need an official letter if the transcript does not say so), a UCCS-approved English programme, citizenship of a listed country, or other criteria their programme approves. Programmes may allow only some of these routes. The graduate page does not mention PTE.

Undergraduates can send photocopies or scans for the initial decision, but official scores must come directly from the testing agency on admission. Graduate tests must have been taken in the last two years. Use code 4874 for TOEFL or IELTS.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admission cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UCCS programme page and in your admission letter, so check it there before you book a test.
