How ULM handles Duolingo scores
All language scores must be verified as valid and taken within a two-year time frame. ULM asks you to share your scores with the university through your testing portal. The pages do not state Duolingo subscores or a teaching assistantship rule.

If your Duolingo score is below ULM's level
A score from 100 to 119 meets the admission minimum but not the ESL exemption, so expect ESL classes. Freshmen can also have the test waived with 640 in SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and a 1200 composite, or by coming from a listed English Placement Exempt country.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your ULM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
