What IELTS score do you need for the University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM)?

Every graduate applicant must submit a Duolingo, TOEFL or IELTS score (TOEFL 79, IELTS 6.5 or Duolingo 100) or reside in a TOEFL-exempt country. You also do not need a score if you graduated from a regionally accredited US college with a four-year bachelor's or a two-year master's earned entirely in the US, or if both your native language and your degree's language of instruction are English. ULM's TOEFL/IELTS exempt countries list covers countries such as the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada (excluding Quebec), Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya and Singapore. India and Pakistan are not on it.

First-year and transfer applicants need IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 79 or Duolingo 100 for admission. Testing may be waived with SAT Evidence-Based Reading and Writing 640 and a 1200 composite, or if your country is on the exempt list.
