UKM PTE minimums by faculty
From the Faculty of Medicine postgraduate English requirement, the FST Master of Science (research mode) page, the Faculty of Economics and Management postgraduate page and the MEng in Environmental Engineering page. No per-skill PTE minimum appears on any of them.

Test rules and the IELTS comparison
The Faculty of Medicine table names "Pearson PTE Academics / PTE (Online)", so it takes the online test as well. The engineering page goes the other way and lists the Pearson Test of English among tests not accepted, alongside IELTS Online and TOEFL Essentials (Online). None of the pages read states how old a PTE score can be or gives a Pearson institution code.
On the same pages, Medicine's PTE 63 sits beside IELTS 6.5 and PTE 59 beside IELTS 6.0; the FST's PTE 51 sits beside IELTS 5.5. The economics list pairs PTE 46 with IELTS 6.0, which is a lower PTE figure than the IELTS level would suggest elsewhere at UKM, so confirm it with the faculty before relying on it.

If you fall short
Medicine points applicants to Higher Education English Test (HEET) training through UKMSHAPE, and its table also lists HEET, MUET and ELS CIEP Level 109. The FST page lists HEET score 7 and MUET band 4 as alternatives, and international students from countries where English is the official language, or with an English-medium degree, may be exempted.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UKM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
