Exeter Duolingo minimums by profile
From Exeter's English language requirements page and its profile pages: A, B1, B2, B3, C, D, E, F and G. The IELTS level is the one on the same profile page.

Exeter's Duolingo rules
Each profile page accepts the Duolingo English Test only when taken from 1 July 2024, and lists it among tests valid for two years before the start of the programme. Your programme page tells you which profile applies.
For comparison, the Profile B2 page asks IELTS Academic, IELTS Academic Online or IELTS One Skill Retake at 6.5 overall with no less than 6 in any section, beside Duolingo 120 with no less than 110 in any integrated subscore.

If your Duolingo score is short
The University of Exeter International Study Centre runs pre-sessional English courses, and the profile pages list the results needed to progress. The main page also describes cases where evidence outside the validity period by no more than three months, or no more than 0.5 below in one subskill on the IELTS equivalent, is referred to the lead academic supervisor, still subject to UKVI minimums.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Exeter programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
