What PTE score do you need for the University of Illinois Springfield?

Qualifying scores must have been obtained within the last two years, unless you have been studying continuously at a US college or university since the older test. For PTE, the instruction is to request an electronic copy of the score sent to UIS. The page does not mention PTE Academic Online or PTE Core.

On the same table, IELTS Academic is 6.0 for undergraduates and 6.5 for graduates, and the Communication and Teaching English programmes ask for IELTS 7. Note that the programme table lists PTE 65 for the Communication MA, below the general graduate PTE figure of 70, so confirm the binding number with the department.

UIS also accepts an English Language Program equivalent to CEFR B2 at both levels, and ELS Level 112. Citizens of listed English-speaking countries have the requirement waived automatically.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your UIS programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
