Test rules and how to send your score
The central page says the level a programme needs is on its course page, so find your level there, then read off the PTE range. The pages do not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson code. ECE applicants apply through uni-assist; the TOEFL code 2727 on the FAQ is for TOEFL only.
On the central table, IELTS 5.5 to 6.5 is B2 and 7.0 to 8.0 is C1. The ECE FAQ lists IELTS 5.5 to 6.5, matching PTE 59 to 75.

If you fall short
The ECE FAQ says the certificates are needed only if your studies were not in English; if your undergraduate courses were taught exclusively in English, a letter from your university saying so is accepted. Some programmes, such as Global Political Economy and Development, ask C1 but list only TOEFL and IELTS figures, so check before relying on PTE.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Kassel programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
