Test rules and how to send your score
The statutes and the programme page name PTE Academic only. They do not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson code. Applicants with a foreign degree apply to Communications Technology through uni-assist, so send your documents the way that route asks.
In the statutes, C1 also means IELTS 7.0 or TOEFL iBT 95, and B2 means IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL iBT 72. You are exempt if your degree was taught solely in English.

If you fall short
The head of the Center for Languages and Philology can waive proof in justified cases, for example for applicants educated at English-speaking schools, native speakers or English studies graduates. Check whether your programme is one of those set at B2, where 59 is enough.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your Ulm programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
