What PTE score do you need for TUM?

Upload your PTE score report to the online application form in TUMonline; TUM says it will attempt to verify the certificate online. Proof of English normally has to be in before the end of the application period. The page does not mention PTE Core and gives no Pearson institution code.

On validity, the page says older recognised certificates are accepted if uploaded as a PDF, and that temporary validity printed on a certificate is not relevant to a TUM application, though the minimum scores still apply. On the same page, IELTS Academic (and IELTS Online Academic) needs 6.5 overall and TOEFL iBT needs 88, so PTE 65 is TUM's PTE route to that level.

TUM does not describe a conditional admission or pre-sessional route with a PTE entry point. For some master's programmes, English credits from your bachelor's degree or (for some TUM School of Management programmes) a GMAT above 600 can count as proof instead; the programme's Academic and Examination Regulations (FPSO) decide that.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your TUM programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.

Pearson has discontinued PTE Academic Online for new bookings, so plan on a test-centre PTE Academic sitting even where this page still lists the online version. See can you take PTE at home.
