What TOEFL score do you need for the University of San Diego?

USD accepts the TOEFL iBT at a test centre, the TOEFL iBT Home Edition and the TOEFL iBT Paper Edition (in select countries). It does not accept TOEFL Essentials or MyBest scores for graduate admission: you must meet your programme's minimum on a single test date. Scores must be no more than two years old when you submit the online application.

For comparison, the same page asks for an IELTS Academic band of 7.0.

The page lists no conditional route. The test can be waived only if you are enrolled in or have earned a four-year bachelor's or two-year master's degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 from an institution where English is the official language of instruction. Waivers must be requested, are granted case by case for a specific programme and term, and are not guaranteed.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your USD programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
