How USask handles TOEFL scores

USask's TOEFL institution code is 0980. All scores must be from one exam date and cannot be combined with other dates. Tests are valid for two years (24 months) after the test date and must still be valid at the start of your first term; if you defer, the score must be valid at the new start date. The pages give no separate MyBest wording beyond the single-date rule.

For comparison, the undergraduate page and the graduate page set IELTS Academic at 6.5 with 6.0 in each band, and Computer Science asks for IELTS 7.0 with no score below 6.5.

If your TOEFL score is below USask's level

The University of Saskatchewan Language Centre is now permanently closed; its EAP Level 4 completions stay valid for two years. Graduate studies also accepts successful completion of the University of Regina's EAP 100 and EAP 101. The pages describe no conditional admission for a low TOEFL score.

Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your USask programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
