Test rules and how to send your score
The page says English proficiency results must be sent to USI directly from the testing agency. It does not mention PTE Academic Online, PTE Core, a validity period or a Pearson institution code. The code 1335 is for TOEFL.
On the same table, IELTS is 6 and TOEFL iBT is 4 on the 2026 scale or 71 before it. So PTE 50 is USI's PTE equivalent of IELTS 6.

If you fall short
USI's conditional admission page grants undergraduate conditional admission on successful completion of the Intensive English Program (IEP), pending other requirements such as GPA. Graduate students can apply to the IEP as non-degree students, but the page gives graduate minimums for TOEFL iBT 4.5 and IELTS 6.5 only, with no PTE figure.
Requirements vary by programme and change between admissions cycles. The score that binds you is the one on your USI programme page and in your offer letter, so check it there before you book a test.
